Our Beliefs

We believe that there is one true God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has made Himself known to us as our Creator (Father), Savior (Son), and Comforter/Guide (Holy Spirit).

We believe that the Holy Bible was written by divinely inspired men and is God’s only written revelation of Himself to man. It is without error.

We believe that salvation is a gift from God and is given freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This salvation cannot be earned but is received and secured when a person takes intentional action to ask Christ into his or her life. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.

We believe that baptism is the first step of obedience by a new believer. The full immersion in water symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ that makes possible our faith and new life in Him.

We believe that every Christian has direct access in prayer to God through the Lord Jesus Christ, and is accountable directly to God.

We believe that God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman being committed to one another for a lifetime. The husband and wife are of equal worth before God, both being created in God’s image. Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord.
